I have tried many tools and techniques. I have tried many productivity apps, and nothing has worked well for me as the Pomodoro technique. If you couple that with Bobby Lyte's Flow state playlist/podcast available on Spotify, your productivity will go to the roof. The idea is simple but pretty effective.

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management system that encourages people to work with their time rather than against it. You break your workday into 25-minute chunks separated by five-minute breaks using this method.

Flow state is a podcast by Robby Lyte. It's available on Spotify. It's a curated playlist of minimal, instrumental, electronic music. The good thing is that he also follows the Pomodoro technique.

The 25 minutes is uninterrupted time. No meetings and No phone.

This unlocks produce the following results and debunk some myths.

A lot can be accomplished in 25-30 minutes uninterrupted

You don't need a couple of hours with hundreds of interruptions to get things done. You probably only need half an hour without interruptions. I have been trying the Pomodoro technique, and it works pretty well. I didn't need an app with some fancy AI to block time on my calendar. All I needed was a timer, and a DO NOT DISTURB button. I work uninterrupted for 25-30 minutes. After the session, I take a 5 minutes break, check my phone or walk a few steps.

I have tracked my productivity since I started following these two ingredients, and it's been amazing. No fancy tools, just music, and focus.

Give it a try, and let me know how it goes.
